Wallet, Lead Fee & Refund Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
This policy explains how SOLVD technician wallets and lead fees work, when a lead fee can be credited back, and what happens when a job is cancelled or released.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to technicians and service providers using SOLVD.
2. Wallet funds
- Funds credited or deposited to a SOLVD technician wallet are non-refundable and non-withdrawable, except where required by law.
- Wallet funds may be used only for SOLVD lead fees, credits and services.
- Submitting a wallet recharge confirms your acceptance of this policy.
3. Lead fees
- The lead fee is shown before you accept a service opportunity. Accepting it authorizes deduction of exactly the displayed fee from your wallet.
- A lead fee is not payment for completing the job. It does not guarantee that the customer will hire you, proceed with the work, or agree to a price.
- Leads shown as $0 or free have no deduction.
4. When a lead fee is non-refundable
A lead becomes generally non-refundable once you have meaningfully engaged with the customer. Meaningful engagement includes:
- Sending the first genuine message
- Making a documented contact attempt
- Beginning travel to the job
- Arriving at the location
- Discussing the service or pricing
- Performing any work
Cancellation, release or abandonment of a job caused by the technician is normally non-refundable.
5. When a wallet credit may apply
- A customer cancellation before any technician engagement may qualify for a wallet credit equal to the actual lead fee charged.
- Invalid, unusable, fake, duplicate or materially inaccurate leads may qualify for a wallet credit after SOLVD review.
6. When you are not charged
If another technician accepts a work order first, technicians who did not win the assignment are not charged.
7. Form of approved refunds
Approved refunds are issued as wallet credits, not as cash withdrawals.
8. Abuse and denied claims
SOLVD may deny claims involving abuse, fraud or repeated misuse, as well as refund claims for situations caused by the technician.
9. Acceptance of this policy
Recharging your wallet or accepting a paid lead confirms your acceptance of this policy.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
